Guillermo Zouain is a New York-based director, screenwriter and producer. A third-generation Dominican of Lebanese descent, Guillermo emigrated to the US in 2010. His debut feature film Algún lugar premiered in 2015 in the Ibero-American Opera Prima Competition at the Miami International Film Festival, where the film competed for the Jordan Alexander Ressler Screenwriting Award. Guillermo is working on the script Inland, which won the Dominican Film Commission Screenwriting Award in 2015, which was also selected to the Berlinale Talents Guadalajara 2016 Script Summit. His work as a filmmaker has been featured in IndieWire, The Hollywood Reporter, Remezcla and Variety.
