I am a freelance Director of Photography for narrative, commercial, documentary, music video, and corporate films. My training as a classical painter has greatly influenced my feeling about creating images as well as my approach to composition, color, and light. I have worked as a freelance DoP for over 40 projects of all kinds and has provided me solid experience in the managing of crew under the sometimes stressful conditions of shooting as well as collaborating with the various departments to achieve the highest level of quality possible. I also have strong experience in the area of color correction where my background in painting has served me well. I am a hard worker and very dedicated to the art and craft of cinematography. Narrative film is my passion but I work in all areas.
