Senetchut Men Ab Neh-Ti Floyd, best known as Sen M. Floyd, is a Brooklyn born Photographer and Cinematographer. Having picked up a small point and shoot camera in his early teen years, as a means of expressing himself creatively, Senetchut transformed a hobby into a lifelong passion. Heavily influenced by New York city’s vast culture, Sen's raw, approach towards his photography gives his entire body of work—motion and stills— an organic characteristic. At the age of 15, Sen's work has been featured in museum galleries, such as the Studio Museum of Harlem & The Jewish Museum. He then began his studies in photography at the Tisch Schools of the Arts. After he moved on to study Documentary filmmaking under the Maysles Institute and Cinema. He continued his quest for knowledge in cinematography at the Film Connection Institution and later at NYIP for photography. Senetchut has photographed for a variety of documentary shorts, narratives, music artist as well as music videos. He has also worked with companies such as Duck Down Music Inc, Tribeca Film Institution, Vel Records, ISS World, Loreal, Red Bull Music Academy and more. Sen has photographed for a wide range of artist such as Smif N Wessun, Loaf Muzik, Chelsea Reject, Oshun, and many more. Sen is an avid learner, and seeks to connect with other people both far and near from the stories told through his lens.
