Canon’s workhorse lens. Handles a lot of situations, and handles them reasonably well. Not known for being Canon’s sharpest L lens, but it’s versatile and responsive, with very quick AF. This copy has been around the block with a few bumps along the way, but it’s still my go-to glass for a lot of situations; particularly people in motion, and when I don’t know what might happen next. Lens comes with hood, front and rear caps. For photographers, I recommend using this lens with a 5D Mark iii or later, to have independent access to both tele and wide micro adjustments if you need them.

I've had this lens since December 2009 and it comes with: -rear cap -lens cap -lens hood There's a small dent on the front that makes it a little difficult to get the lens cap on, but it doesn't affect the image quality at all.
