Hive’s Bee 1000 is the brightest light you can plug into any wall socket. Safe to use on a standard US 15amp circuit but requiring only 9.5amps, two Bee 1000s can be plugged into a 120V, 20amp circuit. The Bee 1000 has a full spectrum 98CRI with daylight color temperature of 5600K. Like all Hive Lighting products, the Bee 1000 is completely flicker free at any frame rate, shutter angle or combination, making it the perfect light for all slow-motion “high speed” productions. The Bee 1000 offers electronic dimming control, from full output down to 50%.

Hive Lighting’s Bee 1000 is a single point source 1000W plasma bulb – perfect for use in a large variety of light modifiers, especially square, rectangular and octagonal soft boxes. It is also perfect for use in parabolic soft boxes like those made by Hensel, Westcott and a variety of other manufacturers. The same speed rings used for our Bee 250 can also be used on the Bee 1000.
