Probably not the best experience of using KITSPLIT for the very first time, Vincent did not show up when I got to his place for picking up. Afterward, He told me that he was stuck on set and somehow couldn't pick up calls and reply my texts. I understand things happen, and Vincent was nice enough to drop off his gear to my apt before the shoot in the morning. His equipment is well-prepared and in a great-condition, I am very happy with that.

Vincent was super helpful and accommodating. Gear was in excellent condition overall, but had issues with the USB cable and memory card that caused me to buy another card since it appeared corrupted and I was traveling. Vincent helpfully offered to troubleshoot the gear when I returned. There appeared to be a definite issue with the USB, and some inconsistencies with the card between PC and Mac systems. I would recommend renting through Vincent and would do myself again, just make sure to touch base on status of USB cable and memory card. Would be a 5 short of these issues.

Vincent was great and super easy to contact and schedule the gear pickup/drop-off with. The gear was at a really good price. The Quasar light seemed to have an issue with the dimmer that came with it. The light would occasionally flicker at times and dim on its own. This was frustrating when shooting but it wasn't a catastrophic issue or anything.
