Slik Able 300DX Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head

Owner Notes:

(from B&H): "An omni-directional quick release permits instant camera mounting or removal in any four positions. The quick release is positioned on a 3-way panhead with separate locking controls for pan and tilt. "Lift-n-Lock" center column features oversized locking collar for fast positive setups. Rubber leg tips provide maximum traction outdoors and protection to surfaces indoors. Other features include the optional short center column, permitting tripod use as low as 14" (35cm)."

(from me): This is a cheap-o tripod. But I LOVE it. Seriously, it's actually the only one I use. It's lightweight so it's probably only best for a DSLR camera or one that doesn't way much more. It has a huge range of flexibility so you can film basically 360 degrees depending on how you use the tilt and pan. It has no level for straightening, but because of the mobility of the head you don't have to constantly adjust the legs. It's light and super mobile. And it is terrible for tilting and panning, so I use it for still shots.
