The Zoom H4n is a portable audio recorder. Key features include:

Built-in Microphones. X/Y stereo microphones to pick up clear, natural sound without phase shifting. The mics can be rotated to select a 90 degree or 120 degree recording pattern

Recording Quality. The Zoom records up to 4 channels of audio at greater than CD quality (24-bit/96kHz) to SD or SDHC cards to SD cards.

XLR/TRS Combo Input Jacks. The zoom also has great connectivity with 2 XLR/TRS combo input jacks, each with phantom (+48V) capability. A 3.5mm (headphone) output is provided, and also an internal speaker.

Additional Features. The Zoom operates on AA batteries and offers MP3 recording and WAV at a wide variety of bitrates.
