Filmmaker / Cinematographer. I have a background in dance and love communicating story / theme / concept through movement, both in front of and behind the camera. I am particularly interested in maintaining the organic physicality of live performance – with an awareness of the technical challenges of the translation to cinema. I’m interested in site-specific work that brings dance beyond the theatre and into the frame. I am inspired by nature and take every opportunity to film outdoors, especially when the required equipment is compact and light enough to carry in with me on my back.
