High-quality video with industry-standard format support
Amazingly detailed and color-accurate IPS display
Built-in time code generator
Holds up to four SATA hard drives
High-quality video with industry-standard format support
Connect your HD-SDI- or HDMI-equipped high-definition camera to the PIX 260i, and you're ready to capture Quicktime recordings using Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHD. These formats are industry standards because they have the best balance of picture quality, processing efficiency, and data storage needs. Basically, if you want your video to get used, you need to start with the right format - and the PIX 260i makes it easy.

Amazingly detailed and color-accurate IPS display
The IPS (In-Plane Switching) display on the PIX 260i is amazingly bright, sharp, and color-accurate. Off-axis viewing is exceptional. And if you need to customize the display for whatever reason, you'll appreciate the adjustable brightness, chroma, and contrast.

Built-in time code generator
You can send timecode to the PIX 260i via BNC, SDI, HDMI, or LEMO 5-pin, but it also has its own built-in time code generator too. Use the Freerun mode to keep time code running even when not recording, use Record Run mode to only run time code while you're recording, or use External mode to sync to an external clock signal. You can even trigger recording via external SMPTE time code.

Holds up to four SATA hard drives
The PIX 260i holds up to four SATA hard drives simultaneously. And you can record to them all simultaneously too, for RAID-1-style redundancy. It also eliminates the need for time-consuming copying, if you require multiple copies after recording.
