The tripod is in excellent condition. The Velbon fluid head is rated to hold cameras up to 10 lbs. I'm 6'1" and with the Legs fully extended and the column posted up to its maximum, the tripod head comes up to my eye-line. Also the column is multi-angle which means you can position the center column in angles from 0-360 degrees in variable vertical and horizontal positions.
