Frieda Luk directed two films that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. As a screenwriter, her short screenplay won HBO's Project Greenlight filmmaking competition in 2014, and was screened at major festivals, including the Telluride Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival. Prior to filmmaking, Frieda was a Marshall McLuhan fellow at the University of Toronto. She received her MFA in Directing at Columbia University in 2015.
