I am a videographer director, and Tricaster operator living in Brooklyn, New York. I found my passion for video work while performing with an acapella singing group at a local television station when I was a sophomore at Bowling Green State University. I was very intrigued after viewing all the hustle and spirit that came along with live production. I applied for a job at WBGU and worked there for two years, where I focused primarily on videography and editing. I was able to hone my craft using every tool that the station had to offer. After college, I traveled to New York to further pursue my video career, where I found a job with an internet startup making youtube videos. At SBNation, I was thrust into building a studio from the ground up, which gave me valuable technical and troubleshooting skills. I focused on Tricaster work and became the operator for the Mixed Martial Arts Hour, one of the largest MMA podcasts on the internet. I also used my videography skills to set up studio and field productions using primarily the Canon 5D Mark II's. I eventually went on solo shoots where I ran sound, shot, and directed. I currently work at Time Inc. as the technical director for our new studio. I direct a daily live show called SI Now for Sports Illustrated as welll as numerous other videos during the day for Time Inc.'s brands which include People, EW, and Time.
