I'm Joey Dello Russo, a documentary filmmaker from Boston, Massachusetts. I've lived in New York NY, Portland OR, Prague Czech Republic, and Los Angeles. I now live in San Francisco, but work without borders.

I hold a BFA in Film & Television Production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Over the past ten years, I've worked for Wieden+Kennedy, VICE, MTV, Airbnb, A+E Television, Eventbrite, and Change.org. My films have been played at over 25 festivals worldwide, including the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.

My belief is that documentaries should give everyone an uncensored a voice, and offer perspectives in ways that effect empathy. Visual storytelling can disrupt, inform, and reform entire industries and cultures. I want to dedicate a career to telling stories about the world and its people.
