Kenny Dixon is freelance cinematographer based out of Brooklyn, NY. For the past 10+ years he has shot primarily short and long form narrative, documentary and promotional projects and strives to give each of his projects a cinematic look tailored to the script. His approach to shooting is that quality lighting and framing will take the image further than the camera the project is shooting with and he will always try to develop a look, along with the director and other dept. heads, for each project individually. He is heavily invested in the independent cinema world, but feels just as comfortable working on bigger budget projects and will easily adapt the techniques of shooting for narrative to shooting corporate, industrial and other projects. He is an owner/operater a Sony F5 camera package with Zeiss speed prime lenses that have been cinematized by Duclos.
