Yoni Golijov (he/him) is a producer. He works at Praxis Films, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Laura Poitras’s production company, worked at as a creative consulting producer at Field of Vision, and works as an independent and consulting producer.
Most recently, Golijov was a producer on Triple-Chaser, a collaboration between Forensic Architecture and Laura Poitras. The film premiered at the 2019 Whitney Biennial. At Field of Vision he coordinated the 2019 Fellowship Spring and Fall retreats, and he consulted on Cablestreet (dir. Meredith Lackey, prod. Maya Rudolph), Scenes from a Dry City (dir. & prod. Simon Wood and François Verster), In the Absence (dir. Yi Seung-Jun, prod. Gary Byung-Seok Kam), Crooked Lines (dir. & prod. Monica Berra, Jacqueline Olive and Yoruba Richen), and The Trial (dir. & prod. Johanna Hamilton). In 2018, Golijov produced Poitras's art installation Signal Flow, composed of immersive video installation, graduate student film workshop, and investigative print journalism exploring the U.S. military’s presence in Sicily, Italy, which premiered at the 2018 Manifesta Biennial. Previously he was a producer on Poitras's film Risk (2016) along with producer Brenda Coughlin. Risk premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, and is distributed by Showtime and NEON. Golijov produced the short film Project X (2016), co-directed by Poitras and award-winning journalist Henrik Moltke, narrated by Rami Malek and Michelle Williams. Project X was an official selection at Sundance Film Festival 2017. He speaks Spanish and Mandarin.
