This camera brings cinema 4K to a lightweight, nimble shoulder mounted camera. An amazing choice for doc filmmakers, journalists and reality TV. This was the weapon of choice for the award winning Vice News series.

The addition of the XDCA Extension Unit allows you to now jam timecode with sound recordists, Lock-It boxes and other cameras. It also unlocks previously greyed out codecs including internal XAVC-I, Apple's ProRes 422, ProRes 422 HQ, and 12-bit RAW HD-SDI output to external recorders for greenscreen and compositing projects. The extension also accepts V-mount batteries that power the camera for about 3 hours each.

Fantastic, comfortable handheld doc camera- slap on a V-mount and pack it full of cards and shoot for hours.

You can pair it with my lovely Canon CN-E 15.5-47mm T2.8 Cine Zoom and 3-stage Tilta MB T-12 for beautiful wide and close action. Or add my ultra lightweight, OIS, autofocus, Canon EFS 17-55mm f2.8 zoom lens.

Handheld controls on the included shoulder grip include run/stop, iris, and 2x User Defined buttons (currently set to Focus Assist and Waveform On/Off.)
