Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
Description
This is Canon’s better non-L series 50mm lens that features a f/1.4 aperture. The wide aperture allows the lens to be used in dim lighting, but it shows better sharpness stopped down to f/2.0 or so. The lens blurs backgrounds nicely, so it’s good for group portraits or spontaneous indoor pictures, especially when you don’t want to bother everyone with your flash.

Nifty 50 at f1.4 for low light work without flash. Works as 50mm on full frame Canon cameras, and a 80mm medium telephoto (good for portraits) on Canon EF-S APS-C sensors like the 7D mk2, T5i, etc.
