A nice little inexpensive unit and great for controlling practical lamps or small fixtures like LTM Peppers and small Arri Fresnels. Unlike most dimmers, this unit does not dim completely down to off. At its lowest setting, the light will still be on and glowing (about 10%), so it won't work for a lighting cue that requires a light to dim completely off. More versatile than a 300W lamp dimmer found at most hardware type stores.
***This unit will not work with LEDs***
With it's built in on/off switch the unit can also be used as a remote on/off switch for a lighting cue.
