Description

Equipped with all the features of Livestream Studio 3.0 but offered in a compact companion-like form factor, the Livestream Studio HD550 4K is a truly portable all-in-one live production suite that can be easily carried anywhere. Just grab it by the handle or place it in the included carry bag and take it with you wherever you need, including on a plane.

Features include ten remote cameras, two media tracks, four ISO recorders, and three graphics tracks with up to 40 hours of broadcast recording onto internal storage. Five built-in Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K cards and one Mini Monitor 4K card provide a variety of video and audio outputs, including five switchable SDI/HDMI inputs. Ingest sources in up to 4K resolution and apply effects and on-screen T-Bar duration adjustable transitions. Use the HD550 for in-venue broadcasting, live to tape production, and network and local television programming with or without streaming live to the web.

Pick up of the equipment was a breeze! The equipment worked perfectly! My only issue was that there was no one to receive the equipment when I went back to the office. But the owner gave me a code to return the equipment inside the office. I will definitely rent from them again!

One issue with the equipment. On ME2 of the project that I was using a virtual set on. The COMP buton wouldn't allow me to capture pictures of the scene I was moving the camera. The functionality of the button worked but I couldn't see what it would look like so I had to remember what the button did. Other than that the Tricaster worked as expected.

The equipment had some software issues. The COMP isn’t working properly for virtual sets. I was able to work around it but hopefully it can be fixed before my next rental.

The Tricaster didn't perform as expected. I had problems recording and I wasn't able to make Comps of the Virtual Sets moves that I wanted to build. I mentioned this problem when I turned in the Tricaster last month, but it wasn't addressed. I made a video to turn in to the owner to make him aware of the problem. Hopefully, it will get sent away to be fixed.
