The Moviebird Mini Dolly is a heavy-duty mobile crane base with crab steering, track wheels and a telescopic post. The wheels can “scissor” in or out to fit through tight spaces like interior doors or get wide for a more sturdy center of gravity. Pair this base with our Super Aerojib or standard Aerojib for dynamic camera moves.

Permanently-mounted leveling jacks allow you to level the base safely on uneven terrain.

Track wheels can be used on traditional 24.5” dolly track or wider 39” crane track.

Treefort offers the base pre-configured with a Mitchell Mount and also offers an easily-swappable Euro-Mount (Elemac). The telescopic post can raise or lower by 18” without removing the payload. At its lowest height, the post is 4.5’ tall with the included Mitchell Mount. When raised, the post height is 6’.

Eyebolts on the post allow for safe transport or use on a camera car to operate the crane from a stake bed truck for process trailer work.

The wheels can “scissor” to four positions. The skinniest wheel position narrows the width to 33.8” and length to 68.3”. The widest wheel position widens the base to 58.9” and length to 49”. See schematic for details.

You’ll need a stake bed or box truck with a liftgate to transport this safely.
