The 416 is an absolute work-horse, ideally used for exterior recording, and it's quite good for male VO recording. If used indoors, I recommend only using it in dead-sounding rooms. I've owned this for about 6 years and it works as good as the day I purchased it. Pro tip: Experiment with miking the voice from below in loud locations.
