Owner and writer/director, Robert Matthews, is an award-winning British writer/director/filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He is a proud alumni of Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts and with 10 years industry experience, he has directed dozens of short films and commercial projects. The former have won several “best short film” awards at some of the world's most prestigious film festivals and have been distributed worldwide by Shorts International and Ouat Media. His feature screenplays have been optioned by major Hollywood production companies and named finalists at the industry's most esteemed screenwriting competitions, such as The Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting and Final Draft's Big Break Contest. Robert is represented by David McInerney of MaCoManagement.

Renting from Rob is always easy and everything always goes super smooth. He's very flexible on pickup and drop-offs. Rob is very knowledgeable about his equipment and lots of different creative ways to use it. I highly recommend anyone looking for great gear at a great price to rent from Rob.
