A quintessential, professional and preferred boom microphone for capturing dialog during interior shoots, the Sennheiser MKH-50 serves as the alternative to the headache and problems inherent with indoor use of shotgun mics (which sound metallic and hollow from acoustic reflections creating unwanted audio artifacts). The mkh-50 has a slightly wider pickup pattern than say the 416 and also features Two switches on the mic enable a pad (-10dB) and high-pass filter (-1dB/octave below 400Hz)
Rental also includes shock-mount, mic clip, foam windscreen and case.
Additional charges apply if spare shock-mount elastics are opened.
