I'm an all-around creative weirdo. I'm a creative writer for a living, but I love film and photography work. I'm a drone pilot and have my Part 107 from the FAA. I have a passion for great shots and seeing a perfectly lit scene. I have an appreciation for the work that the production puts into a project, from the fire-sitting PA to the Art Director and DP. There's nothing more joyous than seeing that jaw-dropping shot.

Ronin-M with remote and thumb control

This DJI Ronin -M is perfect for smaller, run n' gun setups. The package features a DJI Ronin-M with assembly stand, thumb-controlled pan/tilt control, remote control, monitor mount, and other accessories. This unit has an 8 lb weight limit, which means it's perfect for smaller camera builds, but it has worked with larger builds, like RED. You MUST know the weight of your build BEFORE turning the gimbal on. If you have a RED, you must use a RED V-Mount battery plate and power lead, so that it sits on the gimbal frame. *DJI app must be installed on your smart device, in order to ensure camera is properly balanced to specs.

Professional, Self-engineered Cinema Dolly/Slider

This handmade, polished aluminum, 75mm-bowl-mount dolly is perfect for capturing smooth cinematic shots. With swivel wheels, it can fit curved tracks, with rail diameters ranging from 1" to 2"+. I designed the swivel wheels with smoothness in mind. The wheels are hard skateboard wheels, so it can handle just about any camera build. To avoid camera shake and stability issues, I engineered rubber shock absorbers under the dolly plate, resulting in a smooth shot. The 75mm bowl mount is solid and perfect for smaller bodies and DSLRs, but it can hold larger builds. I have one-half inch by 5', 8', and 10' rails (rental includes one pair of rails). The stands are lowboy junior combo stands with dolly wheels and a Rocky Mountain leveling leg. The rail supports fit perfectly into the stands, but the stands also have a junior pin. The height of the stands are ~28"-48", but with the rail supports and camera build, the body height of your camera will be higher. The swivel bolts can be removed and the plate flipped upside-down for lower shots. If you have any questions about any specs, please feel free to ask. I've used this on shoots of $10K+ budgets. I made it myself, but I engineered it to get the shot, and it's a great, affordable way of adding production value to your shoots!
