I earned my BFA in Graphic Design at California College of the Arts and studied photography at CCSF. It was at CCA that I found myself exploring the intersection between the two disciplines. I fell in love with photography; finding it a great companion to my passion in graphic design.

As a multidisciplinary visual artist, I'm always looking for playful ways to merge, disassemble, intersect, and transform graphic design with photography and other visual arts. It is through these synergies that I hope to bring a fresh interpretation to the table. I am very excited about what future projects await as I continue to explore the fluid world of design.

Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM

I’ve found this lens versatile it was my first Canon lens and I’ve used it in portraiture, street photography, and landscape. The f/1.4 is great for low light situations (I often utilize it for portraiture shots while traveling).

Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM

I use this lens for landscapes, night photography, dog close ups, and recently I experimented with it at a skateboard park. It is quite fast, light, and easy to manual focus. It is amazingly useful in small spaces and if there is not enough light indoors I recommend using a tripod. If using a cropped body canon camera this lens is actually 16mm-35.2mm; 35mm range has been useful for close up portraits shots when I was physically unable to stand far from your subjects. If this is your first time using a wide angle I guarantee it will be super fun playing with lens distortions, angles, and it will literally open up your world visually while you remaster composition.

Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM

I use this lens in studio shoots, to zoom in on street photography subjects and close range bird photography; you can use a tripod collar but I have not found a need for one (it is light weight). I usually use it handheld outside the studio at 125 shutter speed. This lens allows a shallow depth of field both in a studio setting and outdoors.
