Davey was great - I made a request without much warning and he was very accommodating with my tight schedule. The Sigma 18-35 was in excellent condition - however it had noticable autofocus issues on my Canon 70d for stills. According to Google it's very common with this lens so I caught it before my shoot and was able to mostly correct it in the camera autofocus microadjustment settings. And if you're shooting video with manual focusing this wouldn't be an issue at all. If you plan on shooting stills though you might want to ask if he (or anyone else you rent the sigma 18-35 from) has had it calibrated.
