Farzam Salami is an internationally known composer/musician whose talents range from Movie Scores to Live Performances as well as Professional Audio Engineering and Video Editing. Farzam's first album, Aknoon (“Now”), topped the charts as Iran's best-selling instrumental album, and can be downloaded around the world through iTunes. His score for The Paintings of Mother, a short animated film, was nominated for Best Animated Score. He is a multi-instrumentalist, who has mastered 35 instruments. Farzam was key to the music portions of the various documentaries in Iran. Farzam has performed live throughout the Middle East, Europe, Russia, Australia, India, Malaysia and the United States, where he now resides. Since leaving Iran, Farzam's work has been featured on the HBO production 16x9, InStyle Music, and he is bringing a Middle Eastern touch to western albums like Maintain the Light.
