Rode VideoMic Pro

The Rode VideoMic Pro is a lightweight professional grade mic that is perfect for use with HDSLR cameras. The Mic features a condenser capsule that is designed to pick up audio from the front while avoiding sounds from the side and rear. If you are looking for a mic to pick up all of the sound around, try the Rode Stereo Mic. The Video Mic Pro comes with a windscreen and mounts upon the hot shoe of your camera in a shockmount. There is also a 3/8" threaded mount for attachment to boom poles. You can set the perfect level for your recording using the three available modes of -10dB, 0dB, and +20dB. You can set the mic to the 80Hz high pass filter to cut down on low frequency hum, camera motor noise and sound from image stabalizers. This mic operates for up to 70 hours on a single 9 volt battery.
