I’m Alec, a NYC-based composer, audio designer, and technologist. I write and record music and post-production audio for interactive and immersive projects, broadcast TV, and commercial media, and have taken on a wide range of contract and in-house composer and audio supervisor roles at independent game studios.

I'm fascinated and intimidated by spatial audio, and have obsessively tested spatializer plugins and music propagation techniques across a handful of VR projects. I currently work out of a studio space in Gowanus, Brooklyn, and have access to a dedicated, professionally-treated voiceover/foley booth.

Outside of my work in game audio, I’m endlessly grateful to direct the KHORIKOS ensemble in NYC, for which I curate very early and very new vocal music and lead explorations into immersive audio and innovative performances.

This is Zoom's H3-VR Ambisonic Microphone, great for recording 360 degree soundscapes and ambient sound. This records 4-channel B-format ambisonic audio. I'll include an empty 128gb memory card, an SD card adapter, rechargeable batteries, and a microUSB cable (if needed) for data transfer.

Also includes a dual mount arm so it can be mounted simultaneously with a 360° camera (see my other listing!). I can include a stand if need be.
