Lomography Petzval 85mm f/2.2 Lens for Nikon F (Brass)

The Petzval is a unique lens with a design dating back to the origins of photography itself. This lens was created to bring that old large-format lens design into the world of DSLRs. It features individual aperture plates ranging from 2.2-f/16, manual geared rack focus (focus achieved by knob), and an attached hood. Three of the aperture plates feature unique shapes: star, teardrop, and hexagon, which are rendered in images as bokeh. All other aperture plates are circular. Bokeh for this lens in general can have a unique swirling effect under the right conditions.

Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM

Canon’s workhorse lens. Handles a lot of situations, and handles them reasonably well. Not known for being Canon’s sharpest L lens, but it’s versatile and responsive, with very quick AF. This copy has been around the block with a few bumps along the way, but it’s still my go-to glass for a lot of situations; particularly people in motion, and when I don’t know what might happen next. Lens comes with hood, front and rear caps. For photographers, I recommend using this lens with a 5D Mark iii or later, to have independent access to both tele and wide micro adjustments if you need them.

Canon EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM

The widest 1.4 lens Canon makes. This is the version II. Well suited to photojournalism, landscape, and anything you need to shoot wide and fast. Great aperture and focal length combo for shooting at slow shutter speeds. Comes with lens hood, front and rear caps. The hood for this model was not designed with a locking mechanism, which I consider an oversight from Canon, so I’ve taped mine in place with black gaff to prevent it from rotating into frame.

Great! Very kind and accessible. Thank you!

Paul was great on time easy to arrange pick/up and drop off. Most importantly you can tell his gear was taken care of well. Would definitely rent from him again.
