For anyone shooting 1080p that needs a quick output to edit in Final Cut or Avid, the Ninja line is the answer. With its built in HDMI recorder, you can get 10-bit recording straight frmo the camera's sensor to a variety of Apple Pro Res or Avid DNxHD files. And the touchscreen has a resolution of 800x400, which makes for a handy on-camera monitor. Great alternative to the more expensive Ninja Assassin or Odyssey Series when 4K is not needed.

The built-in monitor lets you get a better sense of your shot, with tools like peaking, false color, and zebra. Records to reliable SSD media, which lets you offload your footage quickly at the end of the day. HDMI loop out allows you to connect additional monitoring devices.
