First experience renting from KitSplit and it was a good one!

This was my second time renting from David - much like the first time, it was a pleasure - he was prompt in his responses, flexible and accommodating with my changing schedule. I needed the camera only for a morning so he let me come quite late in the evening to pick up the equipment, removed the pieces I didn't need in advance, and let me drop it off at his office after my shoot. He offered advice and troubleshooting both in person and remotely. I know I'm supposed to review the rental experience but meeting David, his wife and his dog was part of what made the experience enjoyable - they were all friendly and great company during the pick up and drop off times. See my other review of him for more details but simply put, it was great renting from David.

This was my first time renting through Kitsplit and David was nothing short of excellent. He was very prompt and accommodating in his messages to my scheduling needs. He let me come a little earlier than planned to pick up the equipment, even offered to drive it over to me, and he walked me through everything he had. His camera and equipment were in great condition and easy to transport in a camera backpack and tripod bag. My only picky piece of feedback is that the listing said he had a DC cable but come pick up time, he didn't know where it was. I wanted one for my full day shoots but in the end it was fine because I found one from somewhere else and also, his batteries were big and lasted for 8+ hours anyway. I highly recommend renting from David - his equipment is excellent for a range of shooting needs and he is incredibly kind, friendly and helpful throughout the rental process. I hope to rent and work with him again!

David was great and I really appreciate him being flexible on pick up times! Helped me out in a pinch when I needed to add a second camera for a shoot on my way up from Washington, D.C. I will definitely rent from him again next time I head up to NYC.

The gear was in great shape and David is super nice and kind!
