Lens worked well. This lens does not have a lens cap but a filter does the job of protecting the glass and cleans easily. Worked well.

This is a great lens, Canon's flagship midrange full-frame zoom. It's got excellent optical performance at every focal length and distance, which results in perfect sharpness pretty much every time. Image stabilization provides for four stops of improvement at 105mm (and sometimes better). Its autofocus system is incredibly accurate, fast and consistent. In other words: This is a great multipurpose lens.
