A seamless 32-pitch (0.8 module) focus gear, a standardized 80mm front ring, and a de-clicked, damped aperture movement. None of those bad quality adapters, the mounts have been directly replaced by brand new polymer EF mounts.

The optical quality of these lenses are still today quite impressive while being on such a budget. Being initially photo lenses they will cover all full frames with no vignetting. These vintage lenses are excellent for a dreamy style when shooting wide open as well as sharper images when closed down a bit. They ressemble the image produced by their acclaimed big brother Canon K35s. Here is a break down of each lens:

• FD 24mm f/2.8 S.C.C.: Very sharp lens and has vibrant color reproduction and great performance

• FD 28mm f/2.0 S.C.C: Another good wide prime, very sharp and good contrasts

• FD 35mm f/2.0 S.C.C: Allegedly one of the sharpest Canon FD lenses ever made.

• FD 50mm f/1.4 S.C.C: Soft color reproduction, blur and softness. Will sharpen up from f/2.8 for cleaner images. This is popular lens. Amazing bokeh quality very similar to the Cooke Speed Pancho 50mm.

• FD 85mm f/1.8 S.C.C: Excellent lens for close-ups: By open aperture it is indeed sharp, but at same time it makes wrinkles look invisible making for amazing skins. Stopped down to f/4.0 or higher this lens gets razor sharp, impressive change. Beautiful bokeh, great contrasts and colors reproduction.

• FD 100mm f/2.8 S.C.C: Top class lens, crispy sharp & beautiful picture without any distortion, great even open! Excellent build quality, very solid and compact.
