As first experiences go, I suppose this one went rather well. I needed to rent an Oculus DK2 Kit for an event my company was hosting and I had only five days to find the equipment and acquire it. Daniel (of KitSplit) was Kishore of Brooklyn's VR Bar was able to get me vetted and able to rent in record time, but unfortunately, the kit I wanted to rent was unavailable. I tried another renter but received no response, it was about that time that I was contacted by Kristina and Katie (also of KitSplit), who attempted to locate a suitable substitute rental for me; which, by the way, I was very appreciative of (thanks, much). Anyway... getting to the actual rental review, Kishore (of VR Bar in Brooklyn) was quite accommodating; as it was pretty short notice for a long distance rental (from Brooklyn, NY to Brookline, MA). When I received the equipment it was neatly packed in its original box and in good condition. Kishore went over the basics of set-up with me and I was on my way. Our event went over smoothly and the Oculus VR headset was a big hit with our guests and workmates as well. I would definitely recommend renting from VR Bar and by extension, KitSplit; with just one caveat... The KitSplit messaging system can be a bit wonky, so definitely exchange alternate contact information early on. Cheers! ^_^
