Once a go-to for budget-minded documentarians, the HPX-170 is still a functional camcorder for more basic purposes, from event coverage to sports and more. Handy as a simple option for a live feed when HD SDI output is needed on a budget. Or as an ENG option for a shooter who doesn't require the depth of field / cinematic look of an interchangeable lens system and/or wants smooth servo zoom control over a large zoom range.

Records to solid state P2 media. This kit includes three P2 cards (two 32GB, one 16GB), with a Panasonic USB P2 card reader (AJ-PCD2). Kit also includes two Panasonic batteries and a charger.

With pro features like built-in ND filters, full HD SDI output, a wide range of programmable slo-mo and timelapse modes, dual XLR audio inputs and more, the HPX-170 is a cheap way to capture some great video.
