This is a hypercardioid boom microphone. It is perfect for close miking, particularly indoor interviews or tight shots indoors. This can be used outdoors as well with provided wind protection. There is a small dent on the grill but has been tested and still sounds as a new mkh 50. This comes with a short K-Tek boom pole but I can swap that out for a longer one for you at 16'. The are all internally coiled cabled booms.
