Shirley Yu was born in 1994 in Beijing. Based in NYC, she is a digital photographer shooting fashion and portraiture. She has a lighthearted, modernist approach to her work, and her aesthetic is between minimalism and maximalism, utilizing aspects of both. In every photo, she likes to use playful colors to evoke spirit, and loves to experiment with props/sets.
