Studios LIC also includes gallery space to host Photography Exhibits, Events and Fashion Shows as well as Amenities like office space with high-speed internet for temporary or long term rental, conference rooms, storage facilities, equipment rentals, digital capture stations, a full kitchen for catering / Food Photography, a Post production and Printing Lab. With freight elevator access it's easy to move heavy photo and video equipment from our storage to an on site shoot.

This collapsible fabric grid limits the light spread of a 16 x 22" Chimera softbox to 40°. Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. A grid alters the shape and intensity of the light output from your softbox when it is mounted on a light head. Consider a grid as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel. Fabric grids are hand-stitched, and collapse easily for storage or transport. Use of a fabric grid will result in a narrower spread of light. Dramatically soften the light from your flash or strobe unit with this X-small 16 x 22" Super Pro X Plus Lightbank from Chimera, which features a silver interior for maintaining light output and obtaining a slightly greater contrast light. The rectangular shape offers a classic look for use in a wide range of situations and for use as either a key for fill light. The softbox also offers a removable interior baffle and front diffuser panel for creating extremely soft lighting.
