Josh Stark is an accomplished audio engineer based in New York City with a broad range of skills including production sound mixing, live sound, and AV technology, as well as podcast production, audio post-production, and music production/engineering.

Josh's passion for audio software began at the young age of 10 and has only continued to grow since then. With years of experience under his belt, Josh has worked on a variety of high-profile projects including the world's first live-streamed feature film (Curtains Live) as well as work for prestigious clients such as BuzzFeed, Bank of America, and Atlantic Pictures.

Bubblebee Lav Concealer for Sennheiser MKE2

The Lav Concealer for Sennheiser MKE 2 is a soft pliable mount that molds itself to a surface for versatile attachment. The rubber acts as a shock mount, protecting the mic capsule from vibration and absorbing friction noise to give you clearer sound recordings. It fits Sennheiser MKE 2 lavaliers snugly and protects the mic from a build up of tape glue. Included is a special lav concealer tape that is strong, hypoallergenic, and easy to apply. The concealer is made of a soft rubber which absorbs more vibrations than harder counterparts. The included fabric guards, extreme fabric guards, and clothing clips are made of sprung metal. Having two different materials operating in unison helps prevent unnecessary noise from ever reaching the capsule. The extreme fabric guard moves the point of contact between the fabric and the guard, to a more central position over the body of the Lav Concealer. This can be used where the subject is wearing clothing that is made from a particularly coarse or noisy material. Both fabric guards can be used together, in lieu of the clothing clip, if the situation calls for it. Both types of fabric guards and the clothing clip are removable and can be mounted on the front, back, top, or bottom of the lav concealer. For the ultimate fabric guard configuration, use tape to attach the concealer and mount the fabric guard and the clip on the top-side to lift the fabric off the entire concealer. The natural rubber used in manufacturing the lav concealer is biodegradable.
