The Zoom XYH-6 - X/Y Microphone Capsule for Zoom H6 Field Recorder. This capsule enables allows the recorder to pickup sounds in a cardioid polar pattern, and is predominately sensitive to sounds directly in front of the recorder and less sensitive to sounds on the side or to the rear of the device.

Zoom MSH-6 - Mid-Side Microphone Capsule is an interchangeable component in Zoom's H6 modular recorder system. This arrangement enables the "mid-side" recording technique whereby signals from the center and ambient sounds from the sides can be combined to make the stereo image more narrow or wide.
