The GlideCam is rated up to 12 lbs, and I highly recommend a vest with anything on the 9-12lb side. This a great set-up if you need cinelenses, follow focus, or any more cinematic set up. Can easily hold a stripped down Red or Alexa Mini Rig, and a great starter to build up to steadicam rigs. Makes smaller rigs a breeze, and allows for getting a feel for the nuance of this type stabilization. And, IMO, way more fun than a gimbal.
