These are active antennas, so they require power to be provided from another source such as a powered RF distribution box. This box is not provided in this rental. Here, you get the two antennas and BNC cables for them. Without power, these will still function as passive antennas but you lose range and a lot of features. These are ideal if you're running BNC cable 50 or 100' or longer, as passive antennas will lose too much signal and give you a noisy reception. The filters on this antennas are also fantastic in such a busy RF environment as today and especially in metropolitan cities such as NYC.
