What you'll learn

Learn how to create great looking videos through the magic of color grading. This class will show you the complete process from setting up your project in various video editing programs, to learning how to turn average looking shots into cinematic masterpieces, to best practices in post production for color.

Color grading is an essential skill needed to achieve that elusive “film look” that makes your videos stand out from the rest.

-Understanding LOG profiles versus RAW and Video
-Balancing a scene
-Creating a FILM look
-How to get perfect skin tones
-Dealing with video noise
-Day for Night color grading
-Understanding Look Up Tables (LUT)

What you need

Basic understanding of video editing. Students don’t need to bring anything to class.
