If Porsche made a skateboard slider, they'd make a MYT Constellation. This slider is in a whole different league than any other skater slider on the market. The spring loaded side wheels not only ensure the wheels are always making contact but it's positioning prevents tip overs. Mounting points in 3/8" and 1/4" machined all over the chassis plus a wooden push handle and wheel brake, make your day easier and moves smoother.
This package solves the biggest downside of skateboard sliders - the small shakes and deflections from having to mount the truss on stands, making precise long lens moves a challenge . We've solved this by attaching "outrigger" monopods to the outside of the truss, achieving rock solid stability on both the X and Y axis. 200mm macro move - no problem. When you need to go lower than the Matthews slider stands, you can use the mono-pods on their own. or the included apple box family. To go even lower, the kit has adjustable "shorty" legs that go from 2" to 6".
Last is a 6" 100mm riser that attaches to the chassis. This makes push in and out moves less likely to see the track.
