LOMO lenses are 35mm lenses made in the USSR; LOMO stands for Leningrad Optical and Mechanical Factory or Leningradskoye Optiko-Mechanicheshkoye Obyedinenie. The factory was apparently founded in 1962 in the city now known as St Petersburg.
These are true cinema lenses and are not converted still lenses; the focus has a full 270-degree rotation. They have been remounted to PL from their original OCT-19 mount, and we have calibrated their back focus to ensure that all of the focus marks match perfectly. The markings, however, are all in metric. These lenses produce all the beautiful vintage characteristics DPs are looking for, including classic oval bokeh. These vintage lenses will also give you gorgeous skin tones, and when shot wide open, with natural warmth, they have slightly lower contrast than modern glass. You and your AC will also love that the lenses are perfectly matched and have the focus gear identical size. This makes for high-speed lens swaps. Requires 18mm flang distance. 22mm reads t/3.5 but can be opened up 1/3 stop more past t/3.5

Lenses require an 18mm/1.8cm flange distance from mount to sensor for optimal use.
Lenses are designed to cover optimally S35 16x22mm sensor sizes. Anything above that may experience a vignette on wider focal lengths.
